Impossible to remove autocorrect from Swiftkey keyboard?

In Whatsapp and messaging my stock keyboard still autocorrects words occasionally and there seems to be typing lag. With alarming regularity the space bar fails to register if I'm typing fast. It has been the same way on both XZs I've used.

This is really terrible. It will be no.1 reason I won't be buying a sony phone anymore. 

I want a regular keyboard. No suggestions and the ability to choose / think and type withoUt terrible interference or word invasion and suggestions.

i dont know heow you cant recreate it, because i cant can it to behave at all. i switched from apple after apple to my z5 compact because the apple board was rubbish and i had had enough. loved my little z5, best phone i ever had, so when it was time to upgrade i chose a sone sz premium, and now the keyboard is without doubt the worst ive ever used, it realy ruins the usability of the phone. i typed this with the google keyboard, bit its still nowhere near as good as the old xperia keyboard. please please please put the old keyboard back, you have gone from the best key input on the market to the worst.

i downloaded the xperia keyboard from the link in this thread, and i will not work on latest android. need a sulution or im sending this back and going back to my z5 compact.

Hi,

I'm not defending SwiftKey but you may find the easiest thing to switch off the auto correct by pressing + (ontop row of the keyboard) then "gear icon" or setting and disable the auto correct button. This should disable the auto correct.
