I have tried to hide content of my whatsapp when notification appears but I failed. The only option is to switch off notifications altogether. How do you assist in this matter?
@Thusixyou can only do that with notification content on the lock screen, if you go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Whatsapp > App notifications > Message notifications > On the lock screen > Hide sensitive notification content, and optionally do the same for App notifications > Group notifications. if you want to hide notification content at all times, not just on the lock screen, you'll have to contact Whatsapp and suggest that feature to them.
@najodleglejszy thanx, it is funny because version 2.17.70 has the option to hide content whereas 2.17.395 does not have. I decided to switch off the notifications
There is a bug on the last beta of whatsapp. You can't set the notifications to hide incoming messages cuz everytime it comes back to show them on the screen.
This morning whatsapp received another update. But, unfortunatelly, the bug is still there. Can anyone elese confirm that? Are you able to silence the notifications...without they "come back" to be active by theirself? Is very annoying...
UP! Please....
@herasymcukyou should report the bug to Whatsapp (especially so if you're using beta version of their app), as it's on them to fix it.
