I'm sorry for the late reply in regards to your question about gesture navigation.

As you have noticed, we currently have not included gesture navigation in Android Pie, and cannot comment on future plans to add it. However, we will continue to listen to customer feedback and endeavor to evolve Xperia smartphones based on their needs.

Hi @Daniel,

I think it's safe to say most people, when getting an upgrade to Android Pie, would expect all features. This is not a low end phone, it can handle it.

One of the main reasons I bought this phone was because I saw Sony's committment to updating it to Pie.

At no point did it occur to me that it would be a partial update (perhaps that was foolish of me).

I am also disapointed in your lack for updating your phones. I was expecting to get the 8.1, but you failed to deliver it. Please implement all of the features from android 9. 

Because of your lack of updates, I will not buy sony phones again

Yes, I agree. Gesture navigation definitely necessary for all android pie supported xperia models. Because it is android pies best properties one. We will be waiting it.
