How do I put the Flashlight icon on my home screen?

Hi @JohnKiwi, welcome to our forum!

You can't create a shortcut on the home screen to the flashlight, however it should by default be available in the quick settings in your device. You can access them if you drag the notification bar down twice, or if you put two fingers at the top of the display and drag them downwards.

If you want the icon on the home screen, you will need to download a third party application and then put the icon for this application on the home screen.

I'm sorry to that, however if the icon on the home screen is very important, the option to install a third party application is the best one for you. Then you can just tap the icon to start the flashlight.
