Face ID Unlock

I am unable to unlock the phone using face ID. Can you suggest what can be done.

Can you see something under Smart lock? Have you set it up accordingly? @Faceid

I have done the setup accordingly in smart lock it says put on the front camera to unlock but it doesn't.

Can you post a screenshot of your lock screen so we can see if smart lock is active? You should see a small lock for a couple of seconds instead of the fingerprint icon (centre of screen, bottom).

I think you can set it up with Smart Lock. Then you need to turn on your screen and click on the little face icon next to "unlock".

But this is much slower than just put your finger at the fingerprint when you pick up your phone. I don't want to click on my power button or double tap the screen to turn it on first, then click again to face-unlock.
