Can you use NFC to pay for items?

Hello,

I was just wondering if I can download an app (like Google Pay) and use NFC on the phone to pay for items in-stores.

For example, can I download Google Pay, link my card, and then walk into a shop and pay for something using NFC.

@Superman785yes, you can use NFC for contactless payments. you just need to make sure that your bank supports Google Pay. if it doesn't, you should check if your bank has an app that can be used as contactless payment provider (that's the case with my bank).
