Dear friends, I have just purchased a Xperia XZ 1 , G8441. Its upgraded to Android 8.0.0. I transferd all my contacts from my google cloud to the new phone, so that is all fine. But I have a big problem now: When someone is calling me, I don't see a green button to answer the call or to swipe away when I don't won't the call. I am able to call someone when I go to my contacts, but normally I should see a display that shows a that the phone is ringing , or when I am done talking there is no red button to end the call. Weird!!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Hi @Pisces2, let me see if I can help out here!
Have you tried clearing the data for the phone app? This will not erase any contacts, but it will reset all settings for the app in question which might do the trick. To do this, find and tap Settings > Apps & notifications > App-info/Show all XX apps > Phone > Storage > Clear data > Tap "OK" > Restart the phone.
You also mentioned that the phone is running Android 8.0. The XZ1 is capable of running Android 9.0, however if you have bought an Xperia device that is not completely new, there may be a few software updates available. You can either install them one by one, and restart your device after every update, or you can perform a software repair using Xperia Companion and your device will get the latest update at once. keep in mind though that a software repair will erase all user data, so it is advised to do a backup before the repair.
Let me know how it goes!
