Don't worry. Smartphones have a protection for overcharging. In fact after 90% the charging is getting very slow/weak until goes to 0 input. Also after 90% you'll notice that the battery is getting cooler than before.
Yes, it's totally OK Batteries these days stop charging when the phone gets to 100%, and start using the AC power instead of the battery itself, saving more battery life.
