Background Startscreen

I selected a Xperia Home Background a couple of times. But after a short while the background returns to a foreign photo. How can this automatism be disabled?

@PierenAschi;

See in Settings>Apps and Notifications>Aplications if you have an app called "& Clock" (it would be at the end of the list by alphabetical order), if yes select it and press force stop or unninstal if you don't want it. That app would cause the behaviour that you are explaining.

Hello @PierenAschi

Do you select the background in the Xperia Theme area? Does the problem happens when you boot the phone?

@PierenAschi;

Find out what app is changing the background/theme and go to settings>apps and force stop the selected app or theme, or uninstall it (once the alpha clock app was doing it in my case).

I was acting as follows: Long touch in the middle of the start screen, select Background, select Start screen, select one of the Xperia Loops underneath, Select.

How do I find out? The change is happening at irregular intervalls.

@PierenAschi;

Do you know from what theme or app is that foreign photo is coming from?

What foreign photo is it?

They are various sceneries from the world. I have no idea where they are loaded from, certainly not from my album.

I have no such app installed.

Try to boot your phone into safe mode! It can be a good idea to check if any third party applications might be involved in the problem you’re having. If that´s the case, you´ll need to find the app causing the problem 😕
