Audio volume concerns on xperia xz premium. Any advice or help?
I'll second him. They are way quiet for a stereo set up and it seems like when you turn the volume up from about half everything start getting muddied together.
Even My S5 work phone has more oomph to it even if it is more distorted than the XZP. Disappointed in loudspeaker.
As I mentioned several times.... Ugh
The material over the speakers is water repellant making it thicker, denser, quieter. If you boost the signal they will probably distort badly. They are probably as loud as they can go under this water resistant material. Tear out that black material and I will bet they will be as loud as everyone wants.
I have two other phones in my house with front facing stereo speakers. One is the Moto X Pure and the other is the ZTE Axon 7. They both are much louder and clearer. However, neither one of them are water resistant at all! A few drops of water hits those speaker grills and the phone may go poof!
Maybe we just cannot have it both ways????
SO iphone 7 stereo speakers is not water repellant??
Compare it with XZP ...
iphone 7=>voice,db=67.6
=>pink noise/music,db=73.2
=>Ringing phone,db=75.7
XZ premium=>voice,db=62.9
=>pinknoise/music,db=65.2
=>Ringing phone,db=71.6
Scientifically speaking a+- 3/4dB is barely noticeable if anything as the loundness perception is subjective but you need at least 10dB change go twice louder.
Now the pinknoise/music is a different story. Geee... 8dB is a lot
IP-67 vs IP-68. one is more water resistant than the other
