Audio Issues-No Audio on call, media, loudspeaker, Audio jack not detected

My XZs is having serious audio issues. All of a sudden there is no audio whatsoever. In call audio, ring tones, notifications tones, media audio nothing works. 3.5mm Audio output does not detect my earphones. I wrote to SONY support and their solution is useless. Took it to the service center they did a software installation God knows what but no fix. I still face the same issue. There was no physical damage or water ingress but the issue came all of a sudden three months post any update. Please help.

Hi @Ramprasad,

If the issue is indeed software related, the software repair using Xperia Companion will resolve it. After you complete the software repair, please test it before you install any apps or backups as the issue may be present there.

If the software repair does not resolve the issue then it will have to be a hardware fault, in which case you will need to contact your Local support team to arrange a repair assessment.

Yeah .. I got the handset replaced at the service centre
