That's normal, some apps just aren't compatible, other apps are not yet adapted to Pie.

Hi @19610, let me see if I can help you out here. 

As @Strampke is saying, all apps are not compatible with all phones. 

The best thing to do is to contact the developer of the application and ask them if they have any plans to make it compatible with a specific phone.
