Is there any means to remove system update notification? Apparently Android 9 update makes every callrecorder app useless, and i will not install 9 before there is solution. I hate this continious mess with updates. Almost every time some important app is broken after version update.
Probably you can not turn them off (can not confirm as I already don't have Android 😎 but you can minimize them to the maximum, go to settings>apps and notifications>apps>show system>Software Update>notifications>change the settings for each one.
Thanks, but it won't disappear. Even if i turn off notifications, it come back. It seems that Sony try to force the update. I will gladly carry out it, if my apps won't be disabled. Call Recorder is very handy app, and don't want to lose it.
@Species8472, can not tell about Call Recorder as I don't use that app, but I have been using Android Pie in my XZ Premium for about a week and I haven't had any serious issues or problems with any app until now.
Ha @Species8472
Bright idea!
I do the same with work software.
Wait a few weeks before installing the latest release.
Mostly the bugs are repaired by then.
However, on Android software I haven't seen many issues.
Strange thing is that some users report problems whilst the vast majority has no issues.
Sidekick:
Three aspects to bear in mind when updating:
- battery charged >80%
- use the opportunity to dump the least used apps before updating
- give the AI of the system some time to learn to improve battery life
To dump apps goto Google play-> three lines upper left corner-> my apps & games->installed-> sort on last used -> scroll dow and delete. Reinstalling is easy, so why bother.
