Android 9 on XZ2 compact Sound setting functionality limited to Sony music app now? Serious?

Dear Sony,

I am a long term Sony supporter since many years. Besides my Sony receivers, TV sets, BD players, speakers, headphones and so on, I have bought my latest (after seven pieces) Sony smartphone, the Xperia XZ2 compact. I was very pleased about the good camera and the sound settings of this phone. Now, as it has received Android Pie, I sadly recognized that the sound settings via Bluettopth or in general only work until the Sony Music app is used. With Oreo this setting was working globally with other streaming apps like Amazon music or TuneIn as well. Is this a done deal or will this feature corrected with one update within a certain time?

Moreover Sony has removed the DLNA ant network share feature for libraries within anetwork. Are you serious, Sony??? This was one of the key features for using this app.

Over the years You, Sony (!), have downgraded the feature list of your software and apps. A short list for confirmation wanted?

- Video app from tv sets where the program guide was removed

- SongPal or Music app where support for STR-DN 1050 was removed and UBP-X800 will be removed

- now Sony Music smartphone app where network dlna feature was removed

- Android Pie where the global sound setting was removed

You users are invited to extend this list. I was a loyal and satisfied Sony user over the years. But this starts being changed when Sony will follow its way of cutting features of its not so cheap devices. I am always afraid that Sony will sell or abandon its smartphone business. However if they continue doing software development this way it is not a big loss for the market...

I hope the best.

Regards
