i purchased xperai xzs on december 2017.I faced ghost touch issues from next day onwards. I went service centre and done software repair. After that i am not getting OS/security patch update. Its showing as feb 2017. i checked with software update via comapanion and in phone , no help. I reached Phone support,chat support,service centre, opened multiple tickets. Mailed them bunch of times, they said they cant help you on this. I am not getting valid response from anyone. Without OS/Patch update i cannot use my phone for my office profile. Can anyone guide me to file a legal case against sony mobile india.

That means that untill you go to the service centre last March you got all the regular updates?
In that case it was in the service centre that they flashed the wrong software, you must contact them as that firmware is not for regular costumer.

Can you please tell me what is your phone model (XZs or XZs Dual) and your firmware costumization version (you can check this in Service Menu under Software info - *#*#7378423#*#*). I will try to check your last update version and date.
Check also what you have under Build Number in Settings>System>About phone.

That is explained, your phone is not intended for selling to public, you have a firmware especific for comercial and journalists and that is in fact the last update released for your phone firmware.
If you were not warned when buyng the phone I would contact the seller.
I don't know but there is also the possibility that in the service center they flashed the wrong firmware,
When and where did you go to repair the phone software?
After purchase second day I got Android 8.0 and with the ghost touch issue I have used the phone till Feb 2018. March only I went to service centre to flash Software. Then i am facing this issue.

Ok . I will go to the service center tomorrow. Let me know if it's there any specific name for the correct firmware to be informed to service center. Last time they said this is the only firmware they have.
