41.3.A.2.192 Xperia XZs

After updating to 41.3.A.2.192

1. Battery suffered a lot - SOT less than 3.5hours. 

2. Phone heats badly

3. Phone lags & phone stutters

4. Screen brightness adjusts too much & strains eyes too much

5. LTE only - option removed from preferred network selection

41.3.A.0.401 update had the best battery life (SOT - 5 hours) & performance

After using for four days, the battery life is worsen to about 2 hours 53 minutes

I have the same problem. The phone is almost unusable right now because of the lag and battery runs out in half a day.

The phone's battery life and performance is worsening by the day!

I think I managed to cut the battery consumption a little bit by turning the adaptive brightness and smart backlight control off.

Me too bro, I also have resetted my phone, disabled useless bloatware (including facebook), turning off backgroud data for all unnecessary apps. My screen on time has gone up from 2 hours 5 minutes to 3 hours 6 minutes. It's still bad compared to 41.3.A.0.401 (which had SOT of 4 hours 53 minutes), but still okay.

After factory reset, the screen on time is at 4 hours & 50 minutes with stamina mode on and set for device performance & without Facebook, messenger. The phone still lags in performance. Even if the stamina mode is switched off, the lag continues.

Marginal improvement, but not thethe original Sony

In another thread someone suggested disabling Battery Care. I actually updated Battery Care from Apkmirror and that seemed to help a lot.

The newest version didn't want to install but version 1.2.5.A.6.3 did and I haven't seen any side effects other than increase in battery life.
