2160p hdr does not work on youtube since oreo update nor does netflix ultr hd work anymore please help

Qualities above 1080p HDR were removed by the YouTube app until they fix the stuttering lag.

Nor true at all. Where did you come up with such a ridiculous idea that YT removed 4k videos? 😂

I therefore recommend wiping the YT cache or even reinstalling the YT app.

I think you missed the "HDR" in the OP's question. Yes, you can still view normal 4K videos, but for HDR videos only up to 1080p is available:HDR video - Up to 1080p

I have just updated my phone to Android 8 oreo and don't seem to see a 4k option on YouTube any more. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this?

I see 2160p
Problem seems to be that YouTube in its infinite wisdom has stopped HDR videos over 1080p.
That means all those great 4khdr videos will now only show as 1080phdr
Non HDR videos will still display up to 2160/60p
