z5p never sleep bug on android 6

as the title describes,  my z5p didnt go to sleep after  upgrade to android 6 , the screen keep lit on for hours when I leave it turned back on the desk without any apps running or any operations . after I restart the phone , this issue seem to be gone.

Are you saying this happened once and now it is gone or this continues to happen and you need to restart everytime?

The issue was likely related to the update on the device and just needed to be reset, like you would with a PC. As long as the issue is no longer present you should be good to go.

Mine also having the same problem. Z2P wakes up even in lock mode showing the lock screen display. Battery also draining fast and had been trying to restart few times already and still it reoccurs. Happen after the update Android 6.0

Hi nalvinj,

Try performing a restart to the device first to see if the issues continue, if you are getting the same result, then you may need to perform a software repair to reload the software on to the device, this can sometimes occur with new installations as with any device that requires software.

Make sure to backup the device first however.

This sometimes happen because of some apps that are continuosly running in background

Try in safe mode if situation comes back normal, if don't, try Software Repair or flash with FLASHTOOL
