Xperia Z5 camera

I got my phone just over 2 months ago.

Everything has been fine so far but now my camera is acting funny.

It snaps pictures sideways. I'm not too sure if I mistakenly pressed something to set it like that or it occurs on its own.

I have tried figuring out how to set it so I can take pictures from any side to no avail. Even my selfies turn out sideways.

Your help would be highly appreciated.

settings > apps > all > camera > clear data > restart the phone

are you using a rotation app ?

I'm not using a rotation app.
Would I not lose my photos if I clear the data?

Until you can figure out what the problem is, you can just use photo editor to rotate your photos.

@terryQ Thank you but I was looking for an immediate solution. I do find it frustrating that my phone is not working how I want it to.
