Z5 top speaker louder

I just received my Z5 and noticed that my top speaker is about twice as loud as my bottom speaker. It's ruining the 'stereo' effect of the phone, as when listening to media one speaker is overpowering the other.

I'm assuming this could easily be fixed with a software update so I'd appreciate it if someone from Sony can get back to me on this? I just paid £550 for this phone and have a 2 week return period, if there's no guarantee of a fix then I'll be returning it.

Hi Slightly_smiling_Face I own a z5 and i noticed that my top speaker has more bass then the bottem one. Is that normal? It was designed like that or my phone has a issue?

Hello,
During a phone call, only the lower speaker works, and the upper one doesnt work at wall, it doesnt occur when playing music where both speakers work just fine, it is annoying as you can't hear on speaker if there is a bit of noise aroumd you, also the same problem occurs while calling on skype, I guess it is a software issue, isn't there any fix for it?
My Phone is Xperia Z5 Dual E6633

I heard somewhere that it was intended to design it that way for safety of your ears. So you don't activate speakers then forget and use it on your ear.

I have solved it
First step, empty the media volume bar, then restart your phone
Second step, turn your phone on, and play music with no volume, then increase it gently.
Voila!! Your bottom speaker now has equal volume with top speaker
