Z5 top speaker louder

I just received my Z5 and noticed that my top speaker is about twice as loud as my bottom speaker. It's ruining the 'stereo' effect of the phone, as when listening to media one speaker is overpowering the other.

I'm assuming this could easily be fixed with a software update so I'd appreciate it if someone from Sony can get back to me on this? I just paid £550 for this phone and have a 2 week return period, if there's no guarantee of a fix then I'll be returning it.

i've notice bottom spekaer

without bass and weaker 

on call on speakr only one spaker work

and when phones ringing both work but weaker

its another bug about the speakers when ringing is weaker (5.1.1)

I just bought Sony Z5 premium just about 2 week, i got the speaker issue

I listening music or watching video and youtube all ok, bought speaker is working fine, but when i video call and voice call using loudspeaker to other people, only 1 speaker is activated (bottom speaker) volume already MAX but the sound still too low very low, why top speaker cannot be turn on??

Already update the latest OS ( Android 6.0)
Can do some update for the speaker?
Sony really good phone for me, only the speaker volume problem.

Hi,

I think its normal. Top speaker produces slightly different frequencies of sound compared to the bottom one. Based on the type of music you are listening to, you may feel that one is louder than the other. When you play bass songs, top may feel louder, when you play high frequency sonds like bells,bottom one might feel louder.it is perceivable only at close distances.

I don't think it's a problem. Coz that's the way how stereo speaker works.
Just like Z2 , the top and bottom has produced different level of sound. One for treble and one for bass.

when making a call only bottom speaker working (and the weaker one)

they will fix it?

i guess they did it for saving battery but i cant hear much on loud spaker

(li updated now to last build ast build)

i saw at XDA, it can be fixed if device rooted but i dont want lose warranty

i hope they will fix it (anyone know if they will fix it?)

i prefer less call time then attach the phone to the ear while using loud speaker (while driver u cant ear a thing (using aux to fix it)

my last phone was loud enogh (sony wt19a)

PS

ringtone was weaker then media(music) after update from 5.1.1 to 6.0 its okay (same as media) after the update

about diffrent speakers because also HTC  10 use one for bass and one for treble i guess it okay as long is full sound freq

and also sony is stereo (while htc is mono)

hey another bug

i have recently while after sometimes i play games the top speaker became suddenly muted \ very low for few seconds tried update software tried to shaking dosnt help either seems to be randomly

 the phone pretty new.... dosnt fall once

maybe is the heat?

anyone also got this?

It's a hardware issue present in majority of units so ask for replacement or warranty repair. I replaced the phone 5 times on only two phones had equal volume speakers.

at my phone is somehow randomly 60% is okay suddenly unbalanced for few sec\min it was 100% at the 1st 45 days of using the device... i guess the speakers got defected fast (last phone i ll buy from sony...

also loud speaker only one speaker working.... (at this case it not bug\hardware ) but it sholdnt be like that u cant hear a thing

i hope they fix this like they gonna fix stamina mode (i can mange without stamina) stereo loud speaker i need

my last sony phone had also in call stereo was upto 4-5times loud!

one of the reason why i stay with sony... dissapointment

warranty wont replace

they tell me go to sony's forums

i dont see staff answring \helping

it feels like 700euro gone to the trash

ill wait more if there's no choice ill root (the only way to fix most of the problems)
