Hi!
I have following issue with my Xperia Z5 Compact (E5823):
When the phone is turned (on without restarts), after 24 hours something is draining the battery. The battery stats says it is the Android OS, that keeps awake the phone. In this state a maximum amount of 2 days battery life is possible between two chargings.
So when this starts to happen, the only thing I can do is restart the phone, and then it works fine for 24 hours again.
Similar issue when charging the phone:
Right after I unplug the charger, the Android OS is always keeping the phone awake. Restarts solves this issue again for 24 hours.
So right now I use the phone in the following way to get a good battery life:
Right after the phone is fully charged, I unplug the charger, and do a restart. After that for 24 hours is everything fine, so I restart the phone every 24 hours. If not, Android OS comes back and starts to drain the battery.
I have tried to do Factory Reset on the phone (I do one after every software update, just to be sure that the phone will work fine. Right now I have 6.0.1 Android on it, this is the newest version acc. to the phone), and even tried with the sony xperia companion software to do a repair on the phone.
Nothing has solved the issue so far.
No other app is draining the battery, I have even tried to install some battery useage analysing apps, but it didn't help me find the issue.
Furthermore a friend of mine has an Xperia Z5, and he has exactly the same issue with his phone. So it definetly isn't one of a kind, this issue.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? And is there some solution for this?
Thans in advance!
Hi!
I have tried it in safe mode, but the issue is still there.
As it can be seen the phone was awake since I unplugged the charger.
And if it is this awake service, is there some way to stop it? Like for example stopping the sytem application from running (whatever its name may be...) that is causing it?
Or is the only solution that I restart the phone every 24 hours?
