Z5 accelerometer not working

Got my Z5 at the weekend and it appears the accelerometer isn't working properly. Ran diagnostics and it just runs left to right. auto rotate does not work as a consequence. Any ideas?

Well it just decided to fix itself! I installed the BBC media app and I think this must have somehow force restarted the accelerometer when turned screen. screen now auto rotates again! Don't know how long it will last!
