Z3 imp queries

I still got some mix but important queries.

How to completely exit whatsapp and also stop it service? It eats a lot of battery. At night while sleeping I want to completey shut it down. So please advice.

I tried setting data limit and a red exclamation icon appear on the top. Now when I disabled it, its still showing the red exclamation icon. How to completely disabled data limit?

Also xperia doesnt show any 2g/3g icon and I want my phone to only use 3G network so how shall I do that?

And is there any app to display/show continuous ram/mem usage on homescreen or status bar at top?

1)Taking alot of pictures is really a power hog.Especially when you record videos(Full HD or higher). It should drain the battery quickly.Plus, the camera uses more battery when it is at standby mode(where it shows constant preview of the surrounding).

So including the apps(either 3rd party or Sony's apps) running in background combined with the Camera turned on and using Flash i think its pretty normal.

2)Thats normal.RAM if not used by 3rd party apps,it shall be used by Sony's apps, you could disable them or force stop them to prevent them from running in the background.Apps like Facebook Hangouts and Sony Select always run in background if you don't force stop them.If you really carefully stopping unnecessary apps, you could have 860MB of free RAM.

Plus, you need to restart your phone often. This is to release the "stress" on your phone.

3)Yes thats normal,just like my Z1

4)Not sure about that.Don't know how Sony tested it to get two days though 😕

5)The battery life learns your battery usage pattern. It cleverly estimate your battery life according to your previous battery usage pattern. However, you can reset them and to make your phone to re-learn your battery pattern

Go to Settings > Apps > All > Extended Standby Mode Controller > Press Clear data and restart phone.

There you go,it should show like 4 days of battery life with Stamina Mode ON.

Hope that helps
