Hello everybody, here is the most annoying problem i've ever met with my sony mobiles.
I've bought xperia M and Xperia E but they both have the same chargers and i forgot which of them is the specific charger for xperia m and which is for the other one. They both have the same adaptors with the same writes but the difference is in the usb cable itself. One of them has two bodies at the two ends (don't know the scientific name) and the other has only one body at one end, so I don't know which of them is for its specific phone

The problem is the xperia m phone at the beginning was charging well with the two chargers but now it's not charging normally, eg. When the charger is connected to the phone and the battery is at 27%, while surfing the internet the battery juice should increase to 28, 29,... Or at least still at it's initial percentage but it decreases to 26, 25,..... and it keeps telling me " The connected power source is not sufficient, The battery is discharging more than it's charging "
And when i let the phone while the screen is off It takes two or three hours to only charge 2-4 %

Please tell me what to do, i tried everything " factory reset, reinstalling battery " and the problem still here.
Is the problem is in the adaptor? usb cable? Charging socket?
Can anyone post a full picture of the original xperia m charger?

From what I can tell, you will get that message when you device is using more power than it receives. This typically happens when you just switch on the phone during the first few hours or after you did a factory reset. Because after a reset, Android will do a lot of process in the background and will take a few hours. Hence it's recommened that you leave your phone on the wall charger overnight after a reset , update or right after you bought the phone.

If the above doesn't apply, then this might occur when you are trying to charge via USB from a PC or laptop. Older laptop/pc might be using older USB specification and hence not provide enough power to charge, or it will take a very long time. Using the wall charger usually eliminate this issue.

As for the cable, all Xperia phones should be using same cable. They should be compatible with each other.

First of all, I bought it six months ago, and it worked smoothly, that occured suddenly. To be accurate after 3 weeks from installing 4.3 (15.5.A.1.5 Latest/Stock/Unrooted). So I tried the factory reset, still nothing. Despite the charger is plugged-in at 10%.. I shut down the phone and leave it for 10 hours.. when I try to open it, I surprised it's completely discharged not even 1%, it needs a recharge.

I never charge any phone via Laptop, normally I charge it directly from the electrc source (wall) like any phone.

Moreover, the charging socket is shaking (not fixed in its placet) i mean i have to adjust the cable to charge it properly . May the socket be the problem? or is it a rom problem?

Obviously the phone is discharging faster than it can charge.  And this is not normal. It's possible that the rom could be the culprit as well. And if the rom is having issue, doing a factory reset won't help. Try to do a repair via PC Companion. This will overide the ROM on your phone with a fresh one. If this still fails I suggest sending the phone back for service, citing issue since upgrade. Unless you are familiar with Flashtool and you can just get a diffeent ROM from XDA.

And it also looks like you have issue with your charger as well. This, you might need to replace.

im having the same prblm hanoo...me too had this problem after 4.3 update..exactly what u have said...i think the prblm is with 4.3 update...can anyone helps
