Hi, I bought a new z3, its beautiful, but it got a problem with the flashlight.
When i take photos with flash, pics are cloudy.
I detected the flash not centered on the hole in the rear glass/cover, so when I take a picture, is reflected in this and affects the picture.
Someone had this problem? I see that the flash is on the motherboard, so i should not be secure about this problem.
Motherboard will slack? I heard a sound of something loose, like a screw, when i shake.
Sorry for my english, i added a photo.
This deflector will be the problem? He had been loose?
Hello,
There are 2 possible problems:
1.- If you put on a case or a protective film that is very close to the flash window, might reflect flash light into the camera, leading to that cloudy or blurry whitish thing.
2.- I think your case: the alignment between flash and flash window is not good, so you get that reflection. Something that I would say is quite frequent, as I haven't seen any single sony phone whose flash is right in the window centre. Mine is not either, but enough to avoid the reflection.
I think they should fix or give you a new phone, as the "wonderful" camera is useless when using flash. For me it is unacceptable that such expensive phone like this, top notch, has these kind of defects, sorry, but Sony is a rip off, any of those unknown chinese phone 3 times cheaper, and more powerful in hardware, are far more honest products. Just unacceptable, not to mention all the hassle with the water inside.
Best Regards
