Bought this phone since almost 1 and a half months ago and went through normal usage. It was perfectly fine until one day the phone turned itself off and wont respond at all and it worked again after few minutes later. Few days later, same thing happened but this time it wont open at all. Tried using PC Companion software by Sony to repair it but no luck. I left it overnight with the provided charger and in the next day no response either. Even tried all button combinations such as soft reset, hard reset. Such a disappointment from a so called trustworthy brand.

I am very sorry to hear about these issues. In this case I suggest that you contact Sony Mobile Customer Care directly, they should be able to help get this issue resolved.

I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
Try Holding the Power Key and the Volume Up key for around 15 seconds, once done insert a charger and keep it on charge for a few hours, after this period try turning the handset on.
Sent to service centre 3 weeks ago. 4 days later I called them and told me that it was a battery failure. Took them 2 weeks to order the spare part to here. They replaced the part but then it was a motherboard failure and I had to wait another week for them to order another spare part. I expected a replacement but they still want to repair it, such a cheap company.
It should be as they are supposed to perform a vacuum test, You could try contacting Xperia care to get the test results of this test or ask them to perform one
Dear all,
I have been facing this problem since two days. and its only my second week of use. i thought it was because of my androing 5.0.2 update. but i dont think so now. anyway, i used the pc companion's repair tool and there has been a update installed. the device seemed ok at start. and it got through without any problems for a couple of hourse. and then i reached into my pocket and there it was, powered off. thank God i have a spare phone with me at all times. I am not giving up on my Sony Xperia z3. Please guide me to what I should do. Sending the device to a service center is not an option for me, in Pakistan. Is there anything else i can do? please reply soon...
Hello,
Just wondering how many of us had the sudden death problem with our precious phones. wondering how many it takes for Sony to adress the problem.
hands up please...
travelling around the world relying on a sony phone with navigation, booking flights, check in, use the calendar, emails, taking photos, taking really good care of the thing. just to see it go dead in the middle of Asia.
(I am so unhappy it with sony now, that I would like to go to the first good looking Indonesian girl and offer her $100 to get half naked and nail my phone to the closest tree, video the whole thing with a previously bought iPhone6 and put it on youtube, and get a little satisfaction from every view....hey if I get enough views, might pay for my iPhone right?)
Thanks,
Milan
I experience the same on a daily bases. Very frustrating. The phone is rubbish
