Z2 sound problem after 6.0.1 upgrade

Hello everyone!

I have a problem with audio files stuttering/lagging when they're played over Whatsapp. I have recorded a music audio from a Z3 with my Z2 and sent it to a group chat on Whatsapp, then recorded it while it's being played on Whatsapp in my Z2 with the Z3 to show you exactly how audio files being played over Whatsapp sound like. The problem is not only with Whatsapp, but it is with some other apps too like My Piano. I'm sure that this problem may occur in various other apps too. So I would like to know if there is any way to fix it.

Please note that this problem is only with some apps like Whatsapp and My Piano. The Music app does not have this problem.

You might have to contact the app developers, regarding this.

But the problem isn't limited to only one app, it occurs with other apps too like My Piano. However, I will just take your advice and contact Whatsapp developers about it.

Could you test other apps, such as google music?

I have given up and decided to do a factory reset and I lost plenty of music and pictures, but I don't care because I didn't need them anyways. However, the problem is gone now.

P.S. It came back, but it is very rare now, like a single stutter/lag at a random time.

You could've backed up everything before, if you are willing to try something again, you could repair the phone once more but do NOT restore any app nor settings, don't even enter your Gmail account > test it for few hours

The problem is back again after a while, I don't really know what to do now, I can't bother doing factory reset every time it comes back. And as I stated before, it only happens with some apps like Whatsapp.

Same here. On whatsapp. On a dj app. Even the pressing sound sometimes lags. That doesn't happen in the music app tho. In games that happens too. Should i wait for the stamina update?
