z2 battery charging notification light

Is there anyway to turn of the battery charge light (RED,AMBER,GREEN) it's a nightmare at night!! It's lighting up the whole room!! Surely u can turn this off, it should have a option in the night mode setting. If not I'm gonna have to use some black electrical tape to cover it up lol.

I do not think you can do that without rooting.

Yeah had the same problem. Sadly that cannot be turned off, I hope they will enable option for that in next update.

For now I just put the phone with screen down and with top edge turned in other direction than me. Does the job, can sleep again

why don't you turn it face down? that way the light won't lit up the whole room

I use the charging led app and change the colour to constant red and make it blink but put the blink rate as high as possible and the length of time it's on as low as possible but not on 0 otherwise it stays on

This way you get a little blink that you can't even see

Hey thanks stuff_m it's not a fix but is a lot better, using "charging led" app works. after tweaking the settings u can change the colour and set it to do a short flash once every say 15 seconds👍👍 like I said no fix but better. Tip- if using the app make sure notification light in settings is turned on and the app will only work once the phone is turned off and charging 👍 Ps - I use a dock station so not as east to turn phone face down :'( thanks all
