Can anyone please help me? I just received a brand new Xperia z1s from T-mobile and it will not sync with Gmail or my Contacts. I keep receiving "Sign-in errors." It says, "There was a problem connecting with Google Servers... Try again later." My username and password are correct as my phone has synced with my google account for other items.
On the Sync menu, it says "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly." THIS has been going on for about 7 hours. I have master reset the phone. I have tried on wi-fi alone, on a the mobile data network, and so on. I don't know what else to do.
I followed Google's gmail troubleshooter to no avail. I also turned off auto-sync, force stopped gmail and contact storage, then cleared their respective data, and rebooted the phone. It was suggested on an android forum. That also did nothing. Please help. This is the second Xperia z1s I've had in 2 weeks. The first had overheat issues and random reboots. I love the phone, but not for long with all of these issues.
