Z1 power button ring fell off

My xperia z1 power button ring fell off.I want to know if it will effect it's water proofing???

Most probably it will, all of the parts are water tight and losing one of them would suggest that your phone is not waterproof. Tomake sure, contact your nearest Local support centre to get it checked.
