my device is just 10-day old and after a week of using it.. the notification shown on the picture keeps on showing then it will shut down even though the device is not hot nor warm..
I dont know what are the causes of this.. I just remember that it is all okay the last time I used it and when i woke up to check the time, it isalready off. when i switch it on, it shuts down after a few minute.
I tried to reset it to factory seetings, i've even tried to install app-killers.. but it doesnt have any effect...
any idea about this? thank you so much!
Hello sir , i have the same problem i just don't now wich is the problem , i need to fix te problem , if it was for the battery or something else please i need to fix it its very annoying
Hi I have the same problem as everyone here.
Unfortunatelly I am in France where the notion of "customer service" does not really exist, at least from SONY.
I have bought a Z1 from a well known site, the phone came with a defective GPS and the screen cracked all by itself the 2nd day. The seller refunded me right away saying "cannot offer you another solution, this phone is problematic"
I the contacted SONY, they asked me to send for a test. they told me that the phone was not repairable and offered me another Z1 which I accepted and paid for.
This one is the "phone will shut down due to high temperature" one.
It turned off after aprox 7 hours operation.
I've send it back to SONY, they send it back to me stating that there was "nothing wrong" with the phone and they only did a software update.
The phone shut down again so I re-sent it and explained lenghtly what the problem was (as if they do not know...)
I have received the phone back again today, this time they said they have replaced batterie, antenna, adhesive and updated software. I loaded the ussual apps, runtastic, facebook, etc... (the same as I have on my old Xperia SP) and the phone just shut down after 2 hs operation...
Really really fed up with this phone, it seems there is no solution for this and worst of all SONY does not care obviously...
Personally I am very disapointed with SONY as I am a long time user and never had probs with any products.
Does anyone have any ideas of what to do? or do we need to consider ourselves as officially cheated on by SONY and just give up?
