Z1 Compact getting warm

hello guys!..i just bought the phone today and noticed that when i use the wifi it gets warm all off the sudden...and even charging the phone it gets warm....i would like to ask if this is completely normal or should i return the phone

Just let the phone stabilise,restart it regularly.

yeah i guess....also i think this is normal cuz of the firmware issue i was hearing about..where the phone drains quickly after updating to kitkat....read it somewhere
