Z1 camera quality prob

i got xperia z1 yesterday but i think its cmera is having some problem, firstly i thought update will remove the prob "as sony said about its update" but it did nothing with my cam...prob is still there, ph cam is very noisy ,pics are blurry out of focus...and poor quality, and ph display is also not bright, its like dull....am having xperia ion too, ion brightness colors and display is far batter then my new z1, dont knw why...my ions 12 mp camera clicks wonderfull pics....am just loving it...as i thought to improve and upgrade my camera so i baught z1..but am totaly dissapointed, pls make som update soon to remove this prob...

first pic is clicked with my xperia z1 and second pic is clicked with my xperia ion...big difference...

also make sure that you have the latest software as it has improved the camera, it seems that you had a similar issue with your ion

bro at that time it was some moisture in my cam lens cover...after som days it becomes wonderfull...and yes i had updated my z1 with latest softwere

Are the pictures on manual or superior auto?

The Z1 has a shutter time (1/160) that is 3 times faster than the ion (1/50) for similar iso.

The ion got a better exposure and appears brighter. Also the ion uses the landscape scn mode.

The angle these photos were taken is differrent leading to different calculation by the two cameras.

If you could get the Z1 shutter speed down it might approach or do better than the ion. Thing is there is no way to do that unless you use SCN modes.

When you do a comparitive like this try to keep the angle and other conditions as close as possible.
