Z1 always on full volume with earphones

Hi, 

After the Lollypop upgrade,  the earphone always remains on full volume no matter even if I reduce the volume, it remains at full. 

However if I go into Walkman->Sound effects,  and switch off both clear audio+ and dynamic equaliser,  it starts working as expected.. 

Looks like a bug in the new upgrade.. 

Is there any permanent fix for this?

Kindly try this:

- Go to Settings -> Apps -> Smart Connect -> Force stop, Unistall updates, Clear data.

- Go to Settings -> Apps -> All -> Audio settings -> Clear data and restart your phone.

- Then go to your Play Store and update Smart Connect again
