Youtube app tends tu hang my phone. The only way to unfreeze it is to use power + ^ volume button. It started hanging from the first day, when I bought my Xperia S. YpuTube app updates made no difference. System repair didn't help. Any thoughts on why this is happening?

try this

settings > apps > all > youtube > clear cache and everything else

also

uninstall any antivirus, taskillers, battery apps, ram apps.

Cache clear didn't help and I don't use any antivirus, task killers and etc.

have you disable any app?

repair your phone once more with SUS or PCC > do NOT restore anything with the backup & restore app, do NOT install any app > uninstall mcafee > do NOT disable any app > use youtube and see if the problem persists, if it doesn't then the issue its an app
