Xperia Zr lollipop update

Is this update coming to our devices at all? And when is it coming? We were announced for update for some time now and honestly other devices are getting improved versions of lollipop while we haven't even seen the first one.

If it was a hardver issue I would understand but it obviously isn't so why haven't  the update rollout began???

Just like any other update you have to wait for the it, the update, to be approved and released in your country/region. No one has an specific date nor timeline

Ok thank you for fast reply but it doesn't even give us guessing chance 😕 Honestly I don't excpect for you as a member here to give info that isn't known. But for xperia team to not respond to any member asking this is little disapointing. We honestly should have a little better line to someone with service info. At least tell us we are working on it.

Also I believe I got international update for KitKat if I'm not wrong, so how can I wait for my country or region?

You will have to contact your local Xperia Care.

There's no such thing as international firmware - Your device will have a customization number and the updates will be governed by this - Country's and networks have to approve the release and in most countries the networks have to approve or authorise the release before it is then released to generic devices

And again I can't as there isn't one in the country where I curently live connected to my work. So I guess big thank you for Xperia support 😕

P.s. I don't blame you and I'm very gratefull for your help but this is simply dissapointing
