Xperia Z5c battery life diminished since 6.0.1 update

Have noticed a massive lost of battery life since doing the latest update. Use to get easily a day out of the phone, possibly close to 2 days. Now struggling to get to the end of the working day, with minimal use. ?

Would you go to Settings -> Battery -> tap on the battery icon -> take screenshots of battery usage graph and the list on consuming apps?

Do that when your phone is around 20% battery and post those screenshots here, you may upload photos when using desktop version of the forum only.

I was also struggling with the battery, until I tried changing this setting.  So far, my Z5Compact has shown tremedous improvement, I hope this will also work with yours:

Settings > Location > 3 dots (upper right hand corner) > Scanning

Disable both Wi-Fi Scanning and Bluetooth scanning.

If that does not help, try this next:

Settings > Wi-Fi > 3 dots (upper right hand corner) > Setting > Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep

Select either:  Only when plugged in OR Never

I hope these helps.

Let me know the results.  I'm curious to know if these settings has the same positive effect in your device as mine.

You have an app called "Addinsight" that is using massive power, even more than the screen. Is that normal?

I just want to verify, have you tried this setting:

Settings > Wi-Fi > 3 dots (upper right hand corner) > Setting > Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep

Select either:  Only when plugged in OR Never

Let me know the results.
