Xperia Z5 SMS delivery problem

Dear Sony Concern,

My Operating is Android 6.0. I have purchased my phone 2 days ago. My device has marsmallow by default.

I am facing one major problem. Details is given bellow;

1.My Message delivery option is on. Then i send someone massage , who's cell phone is switched off. SMS sent but couldn't deliver. that is ok. But when he or she open his/her cell phone, my message don't receive. when i check my message delivery status then it still show "Couldn't deliver".

2.Now My Message delivery option is off. Then i send someone massage , who's cell phone is switched off. SMS sent . that is ok. But when he or she open his/her cell phone, my message don't receive. 

I have already tried hangout, google massenger but same things is happening.

Please help.

I can't recreate this, have you contacted your caarrier network regarding this?

I am sorry to hear that.

It sounds like it could be network related, therefore a good start would be to contact your operator as @uliwooly suggests. Aside from that, is it possible for you to try with a different SIM? For example, see if you have someone close to you which may borrow you their SIM to temporarily test the function.

Just to be sure, I also recommend that you try to replicate the same behaviour in safe mode.
