Thanks for that. The setup still requires me to connect to the computer via usb and unfortunately it is just not happening. Any other ideas?

Don't worry. I connected to another usb port and it finally worked

Disable any firewall and/or antivirus on your computer.

Try a different port on your PC or a different USB cable, if still not working, disconnect the phone from PC, download this driver and install it, restart your PC and try to connect again.

How exactly do you install this driver? I have the zip file and don't know what to do
