Hi, sounds like water damage......as mentioned above you can dry out the phone if it is infact water damaged & possibly get it to work again depending on damage but at the end of the day if it did suffer water ingress there is clearly a problem.....best to contact your local Xperia Care Centre & make sure you request a Vacuum Test as this will determine if with the flaps closed your phone is waterproof.....link is below....good luck :smileysmileywink:
Hi i have my Xperia for one week now . i got it on christmas and i got the same proble learly the same i close the flaps took few photos under water and the touchscreen didnt work and it even (LIKE IT WAS SAID BEFORE) sometimes worked and sometimes not i wasted 500 Hundred bucks for this . Sorry for my Eng.
