and the worst thing that sony refused in warranty repair because they couldn't find some special label with IMEI number inside the phone.. I have no idea how this label look like... but IMEI can be easily seen inside phone info menu!!!..
this is all very disappointing..
hope someone from sony here can solve my problem.. your call-center in russia is awful.. they just don't respond on my request which I submitted more than 3 weeks ago
always before buying sony phone check if it has that mystery label.. or no warranty..

About IMEI,there should be a small paper under the SIM holder. This is for Z ultra:

It should be similar for Z3.
I have already tried new SIM card.. repairing with PC Companion.. and factory reset..

the phone became very hot right after the lollipop update.. and i think it could harm its radio module or something like that
sometimes it shows available networks but still cannot register

hey there! I had the same issues on my z3 dual.. the thing is that i just bought it recently then when i started to unbox connect to wifi it started to download lollipop, thought everything was good but when i checked it on using mobile data there was no connection at all. tried to download the internet settings. tried it manually and still no mobile data.. so it must have been from the update right? if anyone knows a fix on this pls I'd really appreciate your help. thanks!
