After I upgraded my phone (Xperia Z3 Dual D6633) to Android 5.0.2., the phone cannot save or write files on SD card. My SD card is original and not corrupted. I found out that this problem does not happen on my friend's Z3 running Android 4.4.4. The only solution for me now is to restart my phone every 5 mins.
I have posted some screenshots
Tried to take a picture. Save picture was set to SD card
Any suggestion?
I've seen that before, and it usually happen with either
1. faulty SD cards
or
2. fake SD cards
Could you borrow another SD card and check again.
@uliwooly
I'm certain that the SD card is original and it worked fine since the day I purchased it (one year ago). Anyway, I'll try with another SD card and let you know.
The error code I'm getting from File Commander is "write failed eio (i/o error)".
@uliwooly
So far I have not faced any problems with the second SD card inserted in the phone.
But, I inserted my first SD card into the laptop and copied some large files to it and faced no problems. Seems that the phone has some problem with this card.
If you don't encounter issues with the new SD card then the problem is the first SD card, is it formated on FAT32?
The card is formatted to exFAT by defult. There was no options to format it to FAT32 via Windows Explorer Format Tool. @uliwooly
Contacted Sandisk and turns out that the micro SD is faulty and it has to be replaced.
I appreciate for all your help @uliwooly
Thanks
