Xperia Z3 Dual - add setting to choose default SIM for outgoing calls

Hi all,

I have an Xperia Z3 Dual phone. I have a coorporation SIM inserted in SIM1 and a mobile net SIM for 4G connection in SIM2.

That means SIM2 can't even handle phone calls, only mobile internet.

But since there isn't any options to choose default SIM for outgoing calls (ie. similar like mobile internet has already), a message pops up every time I would start a call, to choose SIM. That is really annoying considering only SIM1 can handle phone calls.

(But that would be kind the same if I'd like to use coorporation SIM for outgoing calls and use private SIM only for receiving calls...)

Since there is a similar option in Xperia C Dual, that would be great if the flagship phone would have the same setting!!!

Sony support, please listen us and include this option into the next firmware update.

Guys, I'm not talking about standby!

To let everybody clear my problem, I'd like to get rid of this annoying pop-up screen and let me set up a default SIM for outgoing calls in settings menu instead!!!

I thinkg that could be better to add the option to set the SIM for EACH contact phone.

This is the way that works Windows Phone and I think that it is perfect.

I agree with Nhadrian. On other brands(samsung/lenovo), there is an option in call settings:

1. always choose sim card

2. choose default sim card

In first option on every call user is asked to choose sim card

In second option there is no asking about which card, call is directly from defaut sim.

This would be really helpfull.

The Telephone app already remembers the last sim used for each contact, that could be a start base....

But yeah, a "default sim for calls" option would be great, after all, we alrady have a "default sim for data"...

Request that the next update has default sim selection for calls why is it every time i place a call i have to select the sim for calling the software needs to provide default calling options for each contact.
