A new FW Update with same build number? (23.4.A.0.546)

Hello, Today evening on my Z3(6653) in India got an update notification. But, the update got the same build number of previous update, even the changelog. Update size is of 51.4MB.

What is this? Stagefright fix? or does this include all other bug fixes? Why is the build number same?

The only info I can find is that it's a bug fix as it says on the image you provided however it may have the same built number but the release version will be different so currently for example it may have R6C after your current firmware but with this fix it may change to for example R7B - So all that means is Month and Revision of said firmware version released

@Thommo, Thanks for the reply. As you said that you think its an bug fix as by image provided by me, this was the same changelog which we got in previous update. 

Yes, you may be right about the revised fw thing.

@VigneshXperiaS did you done downloading....?? USSD fixed yet.... Please let us know... USSD bug make me sick, pathetic...

@sabuj007, I never had USSD bug. Just installed the update. Can't find any noticable changes. It just installed few bloatwares like Sony LIV, Clean Master, Jive, Amazon Kindle.

I will surely inform you after further testing.

@sabuj007, Hello, after 2 days of usage, I found no difference after the update.

It seems that 51MB of my data is just wasted. 

No change in battery performance.

No fix for adaptive brightness.

No fix to improve In call volume.

No Stagefright fix.

No changes in Volumes.

No change log,

No details about the update

No response from support.

I'm pretty sure that Sony or its support staff have no idea what it was for.

But what I found is, my device gets heated more faster than the old 23.4.A.0.546 update. Thanks to you Sony.

Screen On time remains same 5hours. Still NO 2day battery life...
