Hi.
Last week I suddenly noticed that my phone's power button wasn't making a clicking noise anymore when pressed. Now it's more like pressing a rubber button or something. Phone itself is about 6 months old. I also checked my wife's Z3C and, while being about two months older, it's power button is still clicking like mine was before. I searched about this topic and seems that approaches to this kind of problem were quite controversial. Some said that it's perfectly normal and "let it be", while others said that they returned their phone demanding a new one. Has anyone else also noticed this anomaly on their Z3 and should I return the phone or keep it and hope that it will not get any worse?
Regards.
You might want to get it inspected by your local Xperia Care
we are on same boat, i notice mine also no longer makes feeling of clicking on power button it just feels like a bouncing rubber button 😕 i was thinkin of taking it to ISP named Tele2 here in sweden where i bought it to see if it can have new button under warranty.
Hi.
I went to a service center here in Estonia, and they said that this problem definitely goes under warranty. But as they had repair queues of about two weeks, I decided to wait a bit for shorter queues or buy something a bit cheaper and interesting as a replacement phone during repairs.
At least it's good to know I'm not imagining things
Thanks.
