xperia z3 camera dead

My z3 can't take a photo clearly for some time.The phone buyed last year.However they can't repair my phone for free.

I feel so sad.

Hi @JH-EVER,

Do you notice any difference if you test the camera in Diagnostics, Settings > About phone > Diagnostics > Tests?
You can also try clearing data for the camera by going to Settings > Apps > All > Camera > Clear Data.

Have your Local support said that they will charge you? do you see any scratches or damage to the camera lens?

What if you repair the phone with Sony PC Companion.

@JH-EVER You can try a software repair via PC Companion like @Phy suggested.

In PC Companion you press start on "Support Zone" > Start on "Update the phone/tablet software" > "Repair phone/tablet" (the blue clickable link in the message) > Follow these steps without having your device connected to the PC.

Follow the instruction that appears in the program and do not connect your device until this guide tells you how to connect it.

The software repair will remove all data stored in the phone so don't forget to make a backup in PC Companion before you try the software repair. You can do a backup using the Backup & Restore option in PC Companion.

I can see some water stain in the camera lens.

That's a hardware issue, contact your Local support and request a vacuum test, since water has entered your phone, this test will prove who is at fault, if there aren't any cracks and the covers/flaps have been firmly closed when exposed to water then it could be a manufacture issue.

@JH-EVER My suggestion is that you get your phone examined by a technician at one of our authorised service centers. Like @uliwooly mentioned you should contact your Local support for more information on how to proceed with this.
