Can't send text messages

Huh. I am using an M4 Aqua and when I try to send a text message it says could not send. Please help

Boot on safe mode and check if you can send a message.

How to boot on safe mode on Lolipop
1. press and hold the power key
2. once you get the pop up menu 
3. press and hold "power off" 
4. Boot on safe mode should become available

Also, is you internal memory full? You can check under settings, storage.

Are you using the stock Messaging app or another 3rd party app downloaded from Play Store? Do you have enough credit for sending SMS's or a plan that supports that?

Hi @MMC_D,

If you are using the default Messaging app you can try to send a text message using Hangouts instead. You can change the default SMS app if you go to Settings > More > Default SMS app.
