Xperia Z3 bluetooth issue

When turning on the bluetooth on my Xperia Z3 I get a few devices. When using my Galaxy S II however, I get many more, and it picks up my bluetooth headphones as well. So this seems to be the issue with my Z3. Any ideas on what to do to see all the bluetooth devices?

If some devices are paired to other devices like headphones which can also handle calls then they either won't show to new devices and if they do then they won't pair

 The problem with that is the fact that a) the headphones are unpaired and b) some of the other devices that the Galaxy finds are also unpaired.

Are these devices BLU 4.0 compatible or compatible with the firmware

They are. Or atleast, according to everything they SHOULD be.

I have no magic answer except for compatibility
