Xperia z2 otg and micro sd issue

Hi guys! I bought xperia z2 about three weeks ago. After Lollipop update ( 5.0.2 ) I have been noticing that sometimes when i insert a USB pen drive, using sony OTG adapter, a system error occurs expecially during the reading phase. Indeed, the phone stops working and restarts itself. Before updating, I was able to read the same pen drive without any problem.

Moreover I have transferred many apps to my new sd card ( Samsung 32GB EVO Class 10 ), and when i remove the pen drive, they become unusable because the mobile phone says they can't be found. ( this occurs everytime ) It seems there's a kind of connection betwwen sd card and pen drive. However when it happens the sd card is still recognized by the mobile phone as I can read all its content with File Commander but I need to restart the phone to read and use sd card- installed applications.

I tried with a factory reset but nothing was solved and now I really don't know what the problem can be. Do you have any suggest ? Thanks to everyone

With regard to your SD card issue when you connect the USB drive your SD card although seen simply put your phone forget where to look for the apps on your SD card - You could try dismounting the SD card and re-mount it - Your other issue I'm sorry to say I have no answer as I have no issue with this

Re-thanks for reply yes I had already tried to dismount it and then mount it again and it works but do you think it's a software bug? A software re installing would be helpful to solve maybe both issues? I was trying to understand if I was the only unlucky man to face these stupid but pretty annoying problems..

All I can say is when I perform an upgrade I always perform a system repair and not a factory reset

I should try to do that! Thanks for the advice.. Now I won't because the mobile phone works perfectly except for the issue I described. But if I perform a system repair I'll let you know in this post. I'm curious to know if it's software or hardware issue.

So the bug is real, not only me with z3 dual 128gb SD 32 gb USB memory who looses connection to apps in SD. Good, hope someone takes the bother to recreate the bug (easy) and fix it (perhaps not so easy?)

Yes this is a bug in lollipop I have a z2 phone and tablet and this happens on both devices..  Picture from tablet all games/apps moved to sdcard do this when I connect a usb device.. Only way to restore games or apps remove usb and reboot..

I tested on my Z3 Dual and yes the bug is there. Otherwise the phone works fine.
